European Affiliate Awards: Our Five Award-Winning Cases

The European Affiliate Awards 2026 are officially in the books - and what a night it was for Tradedoubler and Appiness. We came home with five awards, recognition for three of our colleagues among the Top 50 Industry Voices, and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Behind every award is a story: a challenge, an idea, a partnership and, ultimately, a lot of work that made it onto the stage. In this article, we’re taking a closer look at the cases behind our wins.

But First: A Few Highlights From The Day
Before we dive into the award-winning work, let’s rewind to how the day started.
The afternoon was all about networking. Our stand was a natural meeting point, with plenty of people stopping by for a coffee and staying for a chat with the team.
There were also plenty of interesting perspectives coming from the inspiration sessions, from Metapic’s take on the creator economy and performance to Woolsocks and the role of open banking in affiliate and loyalty, and Perfmaker’s session on conversion optimisation and customer engagement.
Then, as the evening programme got underway, the focus shifted to one of the biggest topics currently shaping our industry: AI search.
Our CEO Matthias Stadelmeyer joined Joep van den Boer (Shoparize), Alona Malinovska (Webgains) and Cornelius Frey (Affinity), with Jean-Baptiste Barat moderating the discussion on “The Rise of AI Search: Can Partner Marketing Prove Its Worth?” The conversation explored how AI is changing the way brands are discovered, compared and recommended - and what this means for measurement, attribution and the role of partners.
With that as the backdrop, it was time for the awards. And that's where things got very exciting...
Gold: Best Network - Tradedoubler
Let’s start with a win that was particularly special for us: Tradedoubler taking home Gold for Best Network.
The award recognises our ability to combine scale, technology, quality and service - from a broad advertiser and publisher ecosystem to the technology, quality controls and local expertise that support reliable performance across markets.
It’s a great recognition of the people and infrastructure behind what we do every day, and of our approach to combining global scale with local expertise and hands-on support.
But enough about us - let’s get to the cases where our teams and partners really took things to the next level.
Silver: Best Innovation – Boozt, Prisjakt & Tradedoubler
This case is a great example of what can happen when an advertiser, publisher and network work together to solve a real challenge: Boozt, Prisjakt and Tradedoubler taking home Silver for Best Innovation.
The challenge:
Boozt was increasingly using conditional deals, where a lower price only applied when shoppers met certain basket conditions. That created a challenge for price comparison, where offers are traditionally built around a single, visible product price.
The solution:
Boozt, Prisjakt and Tradedoubler created Prisjakt Deals, a dedicated format for displaying conditional offers within the price comparison journey. The solution included adapted feed logic and mapping, separating conditional offers from standard comparable prices. A clear deal message beneath Boozt’s product listings also explained the basket condition before users clicked through.
Silver: Best Program – Huawei & Tradedoubler
For our Silver in Best Program, we’re shining a light on the evolution of Huawei’s mature affiliate programme into a strategic growth channel.
The challenge:
Huawei UK wanted to scale its affiliate programme and make it a more integrated part of its wider revenue strategy. Rather than relying on short-term promotional peaks, the focus was on building a more structured and scalable approach to publisher management and performance.
The solution:
The team introduced more structured publisher segmentation, strategic commission optimisation, integrated commercial planning and a broader publisher ecosystem. The result was a significant step up in performance, with revenue increasing by 87% and sales by 61% year-on-year.

Bronze: Best Program – Itaka & Tradedoubler
Our fourth win came for Itaka & Tradedoubler, taking home Bronze for Best Program.
The challenge:
Itaka operates in a highly competitive travel market, but some of the affiliate mechanics typically used to drive scale - like discount codes and cashback - weren’t an option. The challenge was to grow the programme while finding new ways to create value for both Itaka and its publisher partners.
The solution:
The team focused on building a more strategic, partnership-driven programme. This included first-party tracking, enriched product feeds, tailored collaborations and commercial models for key publishers. The approach delivered 50% year-on-year sales growth, while also improving ROAS and expanding the publisher ecosystem.

Gold: Best Campaign – Appiness & Wolt
And there was one more win to celebrate: Appiness and Wolt taking home Gold for Best Campaign.
The challenge:
Wolt wanted to grow its app user base across Europe, but the goal was bigger than simply generating installs. The focus was on acquiring new, high-quality consumers who would go on to make their first purchase.
The solution:
Appiness and Wolt built an app growth strategy around first-time purchasers, combining mobile in-app advertising, Connected TV and AppsFlyer attribution. By measuring the journey from install through to first purchase, the team could optimise towards real business outcomes rather than simply maximising download numbers. The campaign also brought together Wolt, Appiness and media partners around a shared objective: acquiring high-quality new customers while maintaining transparency and performance across multiple European markets.
Three TD Colleagues among the Top 50 Industry Voices
The awards weren’t the only reason we had something to celebrate. We were also incredibly proud to see our colleagues Tania Prieto Perez, Indrajeet Mukherjee and Lukasz Szymula recognised among this year’s Top 50 Industry Voices.
Seeing three Tradedoubler colleagues included in the list is a fantastic recognition of the expertise, ideas and contribution they bring to the industry every day.
Congratulations, Tania, Indy and Lukasz!
Great Work Starts With Great Partnerships
Behind every one of these wins were strong partnerships, new ideas and plenty of collaboration.
A huge thank you to Huawei, Itaka, Boozt, Prisjakt and Wolt, as well as all our colleagues who helped make these results possible. And congratulations to all the winners, nominees and everyone who made this year’s European Affiliate Awards such a great celebration of our industry.
