We are excited to announce that Leonie Vallerius has been appointed US Director of Growth, a role that marks an important step in strengthening our market presence and accelerating our ambitions in the US.

In her new role, Leonie will oversee US teams - leading Publisher Partnerships, Sales, and Client Services - and drive a clear, structured growth strategy focused on scaling our pipeline, expanding client relationships, and strengthening our partner ecosystem.

Insights from our US Director of Growth, Leonie Vallerius
Congrats Leonie, you’ve just stepped into the US Director of Growth role - what’s your top priority right now?

The US is a key growth market for many of our clients and we see strong potential to further scale our business here. My priority is to accelerate that growth in a structured way - expanding with existing clients, strengthening our pipeline, and building a high-performing partner ecosystem that creates new revenue opportunities for our brands.
As the title suggests, my focus is to grow our US business. We have the potential to become the top market across Tradedoubler, now it is time to work toward that goal. Overseeing the teams enables me to get a clear understanding of where we are, what is going well, and what challenges we are facing. I want our teams to work very closely together to ensure we achieve this goal.
Since launching our US office last May, growth has picked up fast. What’s been driving that momentum?
A big driver has been strong product-market fit. The US market is highly performance-driven and innovation-focused, and our combination of partner marketing, app marketing, and influencer marketing has resonated very well. Brands are looking for scalable, integrated growth solutions, and our curated network of globally operating publishers combined with local US expertise creates exactly that.
From the start, having a physical presence in the US made a real difference. Our colleague Dan O’Kane was based here, and I was the first hire in the US office. While we received strong support from the UK team, we focused on identifying the right publishers, keeping our Client Service Management teams aligned on new opportunities, hiring US Sales Managers, and onboarding new advertisers. With Dan’s TD experience, our combined expertise, and my previous US affiliate background, we were able to refine processes, prioritize effectively, and drive stronger, more structured growth.
The US market moves quickly. Where do you see the biggest opportunities for brands and publishers today?
Brands are looking for scalable growth, while publishers are becoming more selective and focused on strong, long-term partnerships. The biggest opportunity lies in building well-activated partner ecosystems that strategically connect the right advertisers with the right publishers. We already work with strong advertisers and high-quality publishers, and our goal is to ensure they are connected in a way that drives measurable results.
By combining partner marketing with app and influencer marketing, we can offer brands a more integrated setup and help them unlock incremental growth. I am working closely with our Client Service Managers to make sure everyone is aware of existing and new publisher opportunities, enabling us to offer advertisers the best possible publisher setup and visibility. We are also expanding our team to accelerate client development and provide even stronger local support within the US market.
On a personal level, what excites you most about leading our growth journey in the US right now?
Since I have been closely involved in the entire US setup, I am excited that I now get to officially act on it, develop new ideas, and work even more closely with our US teams. I want to be a mentor to our teams and grow both the team’s expertise as well as TD's overall performance.
