Tradedoubler announces product vision for a new generation of affiliate marketing: An Open Platform using Blockchain Technology

New Publisher Interface and Publisher API to launch on 20 March


Stockholm, 27 February 2019 – Tradedoubler today announces their product vision of an open platform that will enable automated and transparent direct relationships between advertisers and publishers using Blockchain technology for the storage of data. A new publisher API will be released on 20 March 2019 alongside a new publisher interface as the first application of this platform.


Tradedoubler believes that being open is good for everyone. We are therefore developing an open platform with global APIs that will allow all our business partners to use our platform, technology and functionalities to connect and grow their business. By being the first affiliate network to offer a platform that is fully open, transparent and automated we encourage collaboration and inspire innovation for a new generation of affiliate marketing.


On this platform we will use Blockchain technology to store business data between partners. Transactional data will be accessible and fully transparent to eliminate fraud and enable the development of new functionalities around payments, reporting and attribution.


The Publisher API launching on 20 March will enable partners to develop using our platform: either to integrate with own internal systems, connect with tools or build and develop own business streams like mobile  apps or other applications.


The new publisher interface that we launch on the same day is our first own application using this API. It will provide enhanced workflows leading to an improved user experience combined with a modern look and feel. New features like new product feeds, deeplink generator, support centre and a streamlined report generator will enable users to work efficiently and quickly access information to make smarter and faster business decisions to increase their revenues.


Following the March release we will continuously deliver new functionalities to the publisher platform while working on the dedicated APIs and interfaces for advertisers and agencies. The availability of these new interfaces and the matching APIs is scheduled for the second half of 2019. Key deliveries will include multiple publisher user accounts and role based access, direct publisher recruitment for our advertisers and agencies, validations, creative and commission APIs.
