Could you please tell something about yourself, your background and your role within the company?

My name is Amanda and I live in Berlin for already 5 years now. Originally I come from The Hague and I started as Sales Manager for Visual Meta 9 months ago. The Sales team of ShopAlike NL consists of two people: Amanda (acquisition) and Denise (account). Amanda ensures that every week new shops will enter and Denise is Account Manager for the shops which are already member of our platform.

 

Why should Affiliate Programs work together with you?

Because we are proactive and social. Talking about the weather and holidays is great, but at the end of the day we think the performance of our platform is also very important.

 

What does the shopping market look like within the Netherlands?

Online, online, online. Who is going to a store to shop these days when you can shop online from home, on the couch?

 

Which trends do you see in the market at the moment and how is ShopAlike able to support in this?

Every day there are new web shops; so much competition! ShopAlike ensures you will receive quality traffic on your website through marketing campaigns. This is our core business. You can have a web shop, but if you don’t know how to get (more) traffic, then we are there for you!

 

How do you differentiate from the competitors?

ShopAlike is a product comparison website, you don’t visit us to compare prices. Through the thousands product filters, you can find your favourite product.

 

Where do you see more challenges?

More traffic! We have a whole team of marketing experts at ShopAlike. Through a combination of SEO and SEA campaigns, we ensure that our partners will get the right traffic for their website because of CPC bidding.

 

What else is on the schedule?

Even more shops!
