An interview with… MrKortingscode.nl
We have asked Ilse & Paul from MrKortingscode.nl, one of our discount code publishers, a few questions.
Can you tell us in a few words more about yourself, your background and your roll within the company?
We are Ilse & Paul, responsible for MrKortingscode.nl! Together with our team, we ensure that the Netherlands have the best discounts in a clear manner. Paul deals with account management for a year now, Ilse has joined him last summer to support him.
Why should affiliate programs work with you?
MrKortingscode is the largest independent discount code site of the Netherlands. This is why we are able to work quickly for our advertisers. Because the website has been running quite a few years now, first under the name vouchercode.nl, we have the experience and knowledge from the voucher code market.
What trends do you see at the moment on the market and how will MrKortingscode help with this?
The trend that was set in the last few years, is of course the growing value of content. Bloggers have more and more influence in the market. That is why we have set up a project in the past few months to make connections with this group. That’s how our Blogger awards got started, with which we already had some successes. We expect that this trend will increase in the near future, therefore we will develop this further.
How do you differentiate from the competitors on the discount code market?
We like to find out for every advertiser what is possible to get the maximum for the brand! Of course we have multiple possibilities for promotion and exposure. Think about homepage, newsletters and blog-exposures, but also the blogger awards or dedicated mailings. We like to have a conversation with the advertisers to find a perfect match with the needs for the advertiser. This way it’s a win-win!
