The TD R£WARD scheme is available to all our UK clients, it provides clients with another strategic tactic to generate incremental sales when integrated into campaigns to assist with acquisition, retention and loyalty. Digital gift cards are an effective way to incentivise your customers at the point of purchase, without needing to discount your own brand.
There are 70 digital gift cards available, including iTunes, Amazon, Pizza Express, House of Fraser, plus many more. Brands that are already making use of this feature include Mothercare, MORE TH>N, Betfair and Virgin Media. These brands are using complementary digital gift cards to gain traction with their acquisition campaigns. Here’s an example from Betfair, it ran a campaign with a NOW TV gift card: ‘Place a Bet and Watch the Game on Sky Sports for Free’.
TD R£WARD provides brands with the ability to run market leading offers across the affiliate channel and other channels in their digital ecosystem. For brands that don’t have voucher capabilities, TD R£WARD provides an innovative way to promote products across a number of different websites.
How the scheme works
There is no upfront cost involved for brands, gift card fulfilment only occurs on approved sales. All transactions are tracked by Tradedoubler’s tracking technology, linked to the brand’s CRM to locate the eligible customers’ email addresses. When this is not possible, Tradedoubler can provide a data capture solution.
Every data capture platform can be fully branded to meet client requirements. The following information can be bespoke for each campaign: footer and header logo, image, copy and the digital gifts on offer.
A brand can choose to offer a single gift card option, for instance a £10 iTunes gift card, or they can select a value that the customer then loads onto their chosen gift card from a pre-defined selection. The brand can decide which gift card(s) to run with each campaign.
All gift cards are delivered to customers via SMS and / or email within a fully branded fulfilment platform. The customer receives an email or SMS which directs them to the branded fulfilment platform to redeem their gift.
The customer will then be presented with their eGift, which can either be used instantly in store or online.
