Recap: Virtual Affiliate Day

 

Since Covid-19 and the social distancing measures came into place we started to be as flexible as possible and show some improvisation. Therefore, the UK Team hosted a virtual affiliate day on the 25th of June to bring together different brands and publishers.

 

During this challenging time, we have found it more challenging to introduce the many publishers we work with, old and new, to the brands on our network. After a few months of connecting with new partners in the industry and gaining new insights, the UK market arranged a virtual affiliate day on the 25th of June.

 

What was it all about?

The Virtual Affiliate Day started with a short ‘Welcome from Tradedoubler’ session at 9 am followed by 30minute meeting slots – lasting from 09:30 am through until 2:30 pm. The aim was that publishers were able to book 30 minutes directly with our brands to walkthrough media kits, exposure opportunities, and new performance-based technology. All meetings took place via Microsoft Teams & Zoom, with every publisher and brand receiving their own, tailored itinerary with who they would be meeting with and when. Due to the great variety of brands and publishers, we were able to arrange very interesting and insightful meetings.
