Can you briefly introduce yourself?

I am Aart Wallet and already working in the affiliate industry since 2001. I did start as an intern at a small startup company and affiliate network. When working there as an intern I did see the opportunity to start as a publisher. In the beginning I did create a lot of different affiliate websites but after a couple of years I did see the importance of building a strong brand is more effective. In 2008 I did co-found and sold it in 2013 to the biggest publishing house in The Netherlands. Currently I am one of the co-owners of and


Can you introduce and its core business values? was launched in 2003 and rapidly became one of the biggest leisure affiliates in the Netherlands. Currently is still big and the core focus is on holiday parks, zoo parks, theme parks and all different types of days out. When consumers come to our website we aim to give always the best possible and available team at the moment.


What would you say are the biggest benefits for an advertiser working with

We are extremely focused on bringing added value and conversion to our advertisers. We work closely together to define the best deals and promote these deals on our websites and in our newsletter.


Tell us more about your audience and what types of advertisers do you work best with?

The majority of our visitors are parents with kids in the age between 0 and 16 years old. They are looking for nice days out and always search for the best available deal. We do see people often look at multiple venues before they decide where to go.


What makes an exciting company?

We at like to play hard and work hard. It’s our goal to be the best in our segment and every day we start with a smile to work on achieving new goals.


Any exciting plans coming up in the next 12 months?

We will add a lot of new services to We want to start adding a lot of search options for our consumers. For example, when you have a dog we will show what venues are suitable and where you can stay the night. Also when looking for venues abroad we will add more new venues. Another big plan is creating landing pages for specific regions and/or audiences to better support consumer`s needs.


Where do you think is the Affiliate space heading to in the next year and what are the main market disruptions?

Affiliate will always be there, but it seems to move more and more to attribution. We do think this is good, but it’s also a huge challenge to divide the conversions honestly. I would be happy to see if there will come a market standard to help advertisers how to use this properly. Also including other channels than just affiliate marketing and not always give CPC channels a higher value because advertisers sometimes want to justify internally why they buy this traffic.


What is the most exciting time of year for you as a business?

Summer holidays are our best time of the year.


Is there anything else you’d like our advertisers to know?

When advertisers have last-minute tickets/seats available, it’s very worth using discount websites and promote this to make sure you use your full capacity.


What is one fun fact about

In the past did promote the “Rollercoaster tester” vacancy. This is really popular and a lot of people did apply for this. For next year we definitely want to promote “Achtbaan tester / Rollercoast tester 2021”.


Any new functionality or idea you would like to share with the advertisers? did enlarge the website with holiday homes. This is already a top-3 segment traffic-wise. We are working on adding more filters and options.


Do advertisers need anything specific to work with

Yes, it’s important there always is an added value and/or discount available.


Tell us more about your audience and what types of advertisers do you work best with?

We have quite a broad audience and also a huge amount of advertisers working together with us.


Do you have any upcoming promotions, new launches, or exciting news you would like to share?

We are working on a white label technique to make it possible for external publishers to use our database and data to share our deals also with their visitors.


What do you think has changed over the time you have been working in the affiliate marketing space? (20 years work experience)

Especially tracking and analytics have changed. More and more advertisers are looking at attribution. The difficulty always is how to use the data and how to divide this fairly between different channels and publishers. This still is a struggle and I would love to see more transparency about this and if possible more market guidelines.


What’s the best thing about working for your company?

We give people great content and deals and make them happy because they are in the holiday mood. It’s great to work hard when the high season is there and also to have some months in between to be able to fix smaller things and develop new ideas and work on growth.


How long have you had a relationship with Tradedoubler?

I did work together with Tradedoubler starting in 2001. Also as a publisher but with different projects.


How is your company different than a traditional affiliate partner? Can you elaborate on your unique technology?

We have a highly scalable backend system. When adding deals it’s quite easy to distribute this to different websites and/or channels.


Are you looking at the affiliate market abroad?

Yes, we are already active in Belgium and do also have domains in France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
