Can you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Tsehai Haile. I am an Online Marketer at since February 2017. I am responsible for the onboarding of new advertisers on and for the promotion of advertiser campaigns through newsletter, homepage, social media and app.


Can you introduce Ippies? is a savings program with more than 300.000 members, and more than 2.100 affiliated web shops. The members save ippies with all their online purchases. From products to (telecom) services and from taking out an insurance policy to switching from an insurance policy.

ippies are internet points with a fixed value of EUR 0.01 which members can spend online after obtaining a savings balance of EUR 5.00. Members can spend their ippies in 4ways:

  1. They can pay directly in a web shop. The web shop needs an payment module (also integrated in PSP Buckaroo).
  2. They can buy several gift cards of web shops with values of EUR 5 to EUR 100.
  3. ippies can also be exchanged for e-vouchers.
  4. Members can also donate their ippies to charity (Stichting Opkikker).


How long have you had a relationship with Tradedoubler?

We have a relationship with Tradedoubler for over 10 years now.


What would you say are the biggest benefits for an advertiser working with Ippies?

We maintain a close relationship with all of our 300.000 members through various channels. That makes the platform for reach and customer insights.

At you can use multiple channels (at the same time) to reach your customers. delivers promotional packages and customized promotion packages. These are guaranteed to be of quality and added value. This also applies to the web shops and the networks as well as to our members. We never reward on clicks. We only reward on sales. By doing so, you are sure our members are actually interested in the products and services that are offered.

We use the data that we have of our members to place targeted relevant exposure on For advertiser this is a big benefit because they can reach their target group. For example, if an advertiser offers dog biscuits we only target on members with a dog.

We can also share the customer insights that we have with our advertisers. For example, if an advertiser wants to know who their target group, we can analyze our data and share the insights through a report.


Do you have any upcoming promotions, new launches, or exciting news you would like to share?

In July 2020 we launched Yeah Baby. Yeah Baby is part of the concept but here we focus on pregnant women and families with young children. Through Yeah Baby we will be in touch with 120.000 pregnant women a year. From the 15th pregnancy week, these women will receive relevant exposure such as products, services, and relevant webshops, based on their pregnancy week. After the birth of their child, they will still receive relevant promotions for their young child.


Any exciting plans coming up in the next 12 months?

We will also start a partnership with Payconiq. Payconiq is an app for smartphones that can be used to pay in several shops and webshops. will be the loyalty program of Payconiq. This means that our members can save ippies with the transactions that they make with Payconiq and also spend their ippies not only online but also in offline stores. This means that we will have more customer insights that we can share with companies that are interested.


Where do you think is the Affiliate space heading to in the next year and what are the main market disruptions?

Because of new privacy rules, it will be harder to use traditional cookie-based tracking. Therefore, there will have to come new tracking solutions so that advertisers and publishers can be sure that the tracking and conversions will be correctly measured.


What do you most enjoy about affiliate marketing?

What I really enjoy about affiliate marketing is the different partnerships that you can have with the advertisers. As a publisher, we have a wide reach and together with the advertiser, we can look for ways to give their campaign exposure to the right group of members on our platform.


What’s been your greatest experience working in the loyalty space?

I really enjoy setting up close partnerships with our advertisers but also maintaining a good relationship with our members. We see good growth in members that are getting more active with saving and spending ippies.
