Publisher Spotlight: digidip

To begin the year, we caught up with Benjamin Boucher from digidip. He recently joined the leading monetisation solution company, to help with their global expansion. He told us more about the benefits for advertisers working with them, exciting news, his thoughts on affiliate marketing and gave us a piece of personal advice.

Can you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Benjamin, I have joined digidip recently in order to help with their global expansion. I grew up in Paris, where I also graduated from university, then moved to Amsterdam for work and now to Berlin in October. I already have experience working on the publisher as well as on network side prior to my current role with digidip.

Can you introduce digidip and the core business values?

In one sentence, digidip is the leading monetisation solution for premium publishers.

We are the world’s strongest and most reliable content and performance analytics network. We operate on invite only so that we ensure to work only with the most relevant and influential partners in the world. We currently operate in over 50 markets worldwide. Our core value is definitely impact, we want to make a meaningful impact in the industry and that is why we are very careful by choosing which partners we work with.

What would you say are the biggest benefits for an advertiser working with digidip?

We only work with premium publishers. It means that, for advertisers, we always guarantee relevant promotions on influential websites.

A successful affiliate marketing strategy is often about working with the few key publishers that are delivering sales, volume and brand awareness at the same time. This is what we do.

Besides that, we are also very happy to be helpful, work closely to increase ROI and help advertiser fine tune their affiliate strategy as we focus on useful, highly relevant and attractive promotions of brands to guarantee highest impact to their audience.

Tell us more about your audience and what types of advertisers do you work best with?

We work with a wide variety of strong publishers in different niches, such as retail, fashion, high tech, lifestyle, travel, etc and in many different countries. The best cooperation we have with advertisers are established brands that operate worldwide. We are able to work together on different verticals and countries at the same time.

Do you have any upcoming promotions, new launches, or exciting news you would like to share?

One thing we are very proud of is the fact that digidip has been awarded the fastest growing adtech company in Germany by several reputable rankings, for the second year in a row now.

We definitely want to strengthen our presence in the UK and US market this year and release more features for our publishers to be able to scale their revenue even more.

Where do you think is the Affiliate space heading to in 2019 and what are the main market disruptions?

In my opinion, white label deals and media publishing giants acquiring strategic tech companies to strengthen their positions is what is going to shape the affiliate market, not only this year but in the years to come, too.

I believe that the affiliate space is heading towards a shift where fewer publishers will have the most impact altogether. Furthermore, I see that this also means those publishers work across different markets and will work with advertisers on a cross-country basis. This will be most relevant for established brands.

What do you most enjoy about affiliate marketing?

Affiliate is very much a people business first and foremost. Having been in the industry for several years now, what I enjoy the most are the connections you make and the relationships you build over time! I enjoy working with the same people and companies again through different the jobs in the industry and of course, the constant learning that comes with working with all types of clients, understanding their business and customer journeys.

Is there anything else you’d like our advertisers to know?

We are always happy to connect with new partners! If you are wondering how can we help you feel free to write so we can have a chat 🙂

If I could also give personal advice: Always be open for new strategies and don’t be stuck in what you think works best for your brand for years now – markets and trends are shifting constantly!
