People and Technology are two things that describe Riccardo’s role, and this is what he enjoys the most about working at Tradedoubler. Would you like to know why? 

 

 

How would you describe our company?

There is a lot of friendly people, it feels really young, it’s a technology company so we are on top of everything trendy.

 

Tell us about your progression at Tradedoubler.

It’s going to be 4 years in April. I started as a Technical Client Executive and things escalated quickly. So, after one year I was promoted as Technical Client Manager, managing couple of most important clients, so for me it was a big step. After that, I was promoted as a Technical Client Director, and I’m still managing a team in the UK. This has been an accomplishment, not only because of my skills but mainly because of Tradedoubler, that gave me the opportunity to grow.

 

How did you get into Digital Marketing?

Actually, I own everything to Tradedoubler, my background is from IT. But then, when I was looking for a job outside of Italy, I came up with Tradedoubler, that was looking for an Italian speaker. At that point, everything started with Tradedoubler. What I’m today and what I know is because of this company, Digital Marketing started with Tradedoubler. I have become one of the senior Tech at TD mainly because the company believed in me and gave me the knowledge.

 

What do you enjoy the most about working at Tradedoubler?

The best thing about Tradedoubler is definitely the people, it’s such an amazing place to work in. And another thing is probably the fact that we are an international company, it’s amazing. Every day at work is different, there are the funny ones but everybody work hard and technology is the key part of this company, you will never get bored, there is always something new to do and it’s so much fun!

 

How do you live our values at Tradedoubler?

One of our core values is being optimistic, and I live that every day, even if something is not going as planned you always need to have the best attitude, and Tradedoubler allows you to do this.

 

What do you like the most about your current job?

As a Technical Client Director, my job is between being the technical guy and managing people. What I really like the most is to put my hands on the technology side, so being in contact with clients and their tech department, visiting their offices. But at the same time I’m a manager so I need to try to teach to my team how to do things the best way possible, so I have created my legacy here. And also, because we need some help to solve problems, I can’t do everything on my own, so it’s important to have colleagues that you can trust, and it is the case right now.

 

How would you describe our working environment?

Our working environment is exciting, our offices in central London are inspiring, and it’s all about the people, our people make the company great.
