The strongest verticals on Black Friday were the categories “Shopping & Retail” and “Computers & Electronics“. This doesn`t mean that the other verticals aren`t successful. As you can see on the chart, the other categories, for example “Health and Beauty” or “Fashion” are also very strong.

Looking at the individual countries, it is noticeable that the top categories always rank in the top three and have done so for several years. The 3rd category changes slightly depending on the country and year.

The affiliate marketing type with the highest sales is “Cashback/Loyalty”, followed by “Coupon/Discount-codes”. The 3rd category changes again depending on the country.

It is already known that the trend in online shopping is moving more and more in the direction of the use of smartphones. The chart shows that the numbers are always higher than the use of computers and are increasing every year.
