Today is World Water Day – Therefore, we want to present our advertiser, sepiia, which has sustainability in its DNA and saves an average of 98 % water. Can you briefly introduce sepiia and its core business value to us?

Sepiia is a Spanish brand born in 2016 to revolutionize the world of fashion. Their purpose is to make comfortable, durable, and easy-care fashion with innovative and sustainable materials. Our clothing is anti-stain, and anti-wrinkle, through timeless basics designed to last, made with fabrics that require fewer washes and no ironing. Everything is made locally in Spain and Portugal in a unique and cutting-edge way.


What is the most exciting time of year for your business?

All year around is exciting, especially at Christmas, because a lot of the sales are concentrated in this period, but also in the rest of the year. We are always working on new projects, and different collaborations… We have just raised 1.9 million euros with the support of powerful investors like Fondo Bolsa Social and Faraday.

Can you briefly describe the value that the company brings to its customers?

We are a leading company Made in Spain that wants to go a step further in the fashion industry by designing smart fashion, under the prism of technological innovation, making life easier for the population. As I mentioned, our proposal is garments for everyday life with minimum care thanks to their technology like anti-wrinkle, stain-resistant, and odour-free, providing comfort to the user with elastic and breathable clothing. We work every day to reach higher levels of sustainability and fight against fast fashion. Our purpose is clear: Send a message to the industry, and the market that more durable, higher quality and locally produced fashion is much better. Know-how and good work have led us to be part of the prestigious group of 5% most sustainable companies in the world, thanks to the “Best For The World” distinction awarded by B Corp.


Can you tell us some of the benefits for publishers working with sepiia?

An innovative product with the latest textile technology, with a differentiating proposal in the retail sector, what makes our offer attractive and different to the market for publishers.



World Water Day


World Water Day aims to draw attention to the sustainable management of freshwater resources. What does sepiia do to save water?

A Sepiia garment saves an average of 98% water and 56% CO2 compared to the same conventional cotton garment. Since 2017, we have saved more than 7 billion litres of water, which corresponds to 2,966 Olympic-sized swimming pools. The savings throughout the useful life of a Sepiia garment are even greater since it needs fewer washes than a conventional garment, and most of the footprint of garments comes after production.


Are there other things that sepiia do for the environment?

Sepiia is part of the top companies that care about leaving a better planet for the next generations. More specifically, from the top 5% of most sustainable companies in the world thanks to the “Best For The World” distinction given by B Corp due to the highest standards in terms of environmental performance in the fashion sector. Data such as community, customers, environment, management, and workers are evaluated. For us, it brings us pride, and we will continue working to follow all these parameters to the maximum.
