5 years with Alicia Mata Suárez

Alicia Mata Suárez has been with Tradedoubler Spain for 5 years now and enriches the Business Development team with her work. Her big goal is to achieve the business goals of her advertisers. And above all, to become a true partner for these clients.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I’m Alicia, Client Development Director. At work, I am always trying to combine all the potential of Affiliate Marketing with creativity, fun, and innovation (and most of the time, I think I do). In my free time, I’m an avid reader, and I love to visit art and painting exhibitions.

What three words would you use to describe your role?

I’d say analysis, strategy, results – but I also add a fourth one – enthusiasm.

Can you tell us more about your role and background?

For over five years now, I have been working in Business Development to drive growth and empower companies of all sizes to achieve their eCommerce goals. But the most rewarding thing is to become a real partner of our clients!

These years I have been lucky to share work and experiences. Not only with the Spanish team but also with teams of different countries.

What was the main reason for joining Tradedoubler?

Having developed my career in Advertising Agencies, I was looking for an international company where I could work in the digital and the martech area. It was a great opportunity, and I am grateful for all the expertise I gained. And of course, all the new things I learn every day at Tradedoubler.

How long have you been in the affiliate industry, and what attracted you to it?

Five years, and I can say I am a big fan of Affiliate Marketing. The most important reason is: very dynamic. It allows you to work directly with advertisers, achieve their business goals, and see many types of publishers that make our work more rewarding.

What do you like the most about your job, and how would you describe your working environment?

Of course, the team, the cooperation, and support make everything easier. I think Tradedoubler creates a space that promotes career growth and wellbeing.

What is the biggest lesson that you have learned in your career?

I’d say two lessons: Never stop learning and be a team player.

What do you think differentiates Tradedoubler from other employers?

The positive work environment has a big impact on how I feel about my work and supports my development.

Some of these important values are camaraderie, respect, flexibility, and the freedom to express new ideas.

Which Disney character are you?

I would say the Disney character Tinkerbell.
