Role Overview

An Account manager is responsible for increasing revenue and Tradedoubler gross profit across a portfolio of Managed & Optimised affiliate programmes, as well as client retention of our ‘silver’ and ‘gold’ clients. In addition, the Account Manager will work with local and international clients.

An Account Managers owns the client relationship and is responsible for developing and deploying account plans for its managed client portfolio. Commercial awareness, negotiation, identifying and pushing through business development opportunities on a managed client portfolio, an Account Manager will also actively seek efficiencies and creative solutions.

Work closely with local and international publisher teams to continuously have the best possible publisher and traffic mix for programs in a portfolio.

Key Personal Responsibilities

  • Understand the business objective of each of the clients in a portfolio
  • Understand your client tracking capabilities and opportunities including mobile
  • Report on client’s KPI’s and report recommendation for growth
  • Closely monitor all programs on a daily basis and act proactive when the numbers are off plan. Know your number!
  • Be proactive with action plans and proposals of new publisher recruitment
  • First line of support for your client portfolio and publisher connected to their programs
  • Client mapping, understanding who is responsible for budget, search, display etc.
  • Be able to create & present forecast, optimization and development plans for clients
  • Seek opportunities to grow clients from a managed to an optimised program
  • Align with advertiser support to make sure that all support task like newsletter, banner upload etc. are done in the most efficient way
  • Make sure that all client details, actions and administration are updated in our CRM system
  • Account receivables, follow up on client’s late payments
  • Promote and sell new product development feature to you portfolio of clients
  • KPI’s: Monthly GP, revenue target and profitability. Client satisfaction based on a yearly survey. Cross selling of programme features – V2 feeds, post impression sales, cookie length and bespoke commission deals

Professional Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year experience as account manager in digital marketing, preferably affiliation
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing and affiliate types
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse trends and take actions
  • 4 years of collage like education
  • Strong strategic thinker with demonstrated experience
  • Demonstrable influencing skills and good commercial awareness
  • Confident communicator with proven oral and written presentation skills
  • Interest in developing team mentoring, coordination and management skills
  • Great team worker with strong organizational & multi-tasking skills
  • Solutions oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and CRM
