Growth in mobile betting and decline in PC sales prompts William Hill to focus on boosting mobile activity and apps
London, 30 April 2013 – With PC sales declining and smartphone and tablet sales booming, the betting company, William Hill, has chosen performance marketing and technology company Tradedoubler as its exclusive mobile affiliate partner to drive customers to its mobile site and help them discover its range of apps.
Tablet shipments are due to outstrip laptops in 20131. and with smartphone penetration now reaching 62 per cent2. in the UK, William Hill recognised that enhancing its performance across its mobile channels was the most important path to take.
