Tradedoubler to Reveal M-Commerce Insights at a4uexpo 2012
London, 14 June 2012
Tradedoubler has today announced that its President and CEO, Urban Gillström, and its Chief Commercial Officer, Elaine Safier, will deliver a speech at this year’s a4uexpo Europe entitled ‘Making money on the move: the evolution of m-commerce.’
The duo will take to the stage to reveal the results of Tradedoubler’s industry-leading research into European mobile commerce and discuss the changing role of mobile devices in consumers’ purchasing journey – from researching products through to actual purchase.
The pioneering research, which was carried out in four markets, UK, France, Germany and Sweden, is a key focus of Tradedoubler’s latest campaign to help merchants and affiliate marketing partners seize their share of the £200 billion online and m-commerce market.
Urban comments: “M-commerce is changing the face of retail and our mobile traffic is already generating more than two million sales per month. We hope that the presentation will give both advertisers and publishers an invaluable insight into mobile interaction and shopping habits, helping them to find their way in an increasingly complex environment.”
Elaine said: “Companies simply cannot afford to ignore the opportunity presented by mobile technology trends when m-commerce sales are predicted to grow 40 per cent each year for the next five years. We’re already delivering substantial incremental revenue and award-winning campaigns for clients over mobile and we want to convince and help more brands make the move to mobile over the coming months.”
TradeDoubler is a gold sponsor of a4uexpo Europe, which will take place in Barcelona on 19-20 June. Urban and Elaine will present in room H1 at 12.00 on 19 June. Tradedoubler’s networking coffee lounge is on stand 56 where the team will welcome delegates with a free cup of coffee.
