and Tradedoubler announce innovative partnership for global shopping and Tradedoubler announce innovative partnership for global shopping
London, 29 May 2013 -, the global shopping marketplace, today announces its partnership with Tradedoubler, the performance marketing and technology company.  This represents an important and exciting new opportunity for both organisations and their respective clients.

Fruugo's unique cross-border shopping platform means that Tradedoubler's extensive list of leading retailer clients can now sell to far more shoppers, on a global basis. The partnership means retailers can simply and quickly integrate their product data into the Fruugo Marketplace, enabling them to instantly start selling to Fruugo's shoppers in twenty three countries around the world. The consumer transactions are always in the shopper's own language and currency, whilst the retailer is paid in its own preferred currency. Fruugo's highly innovative platform allows shoppers to enjoy cross-border shopping from retailers anywhere in one intuitive, multi-language, multi-currency basket.

The partnership ensures that any retailers and brands already using Tradedoubler are now perfectly positioned to benefit from Fruugo's automated platform which elegantly turns all of the retailer's ‘local’ data into truly international shopping content, through the Fruugo Global Marketplace.

Following last year’s successful acquisition of the Fruugo business by the UK Management team, Fruugo is quickly expanding its global reach both in terms of retailers and shoppers.

CEO of Fruugo, Dominic Allonby, says; "This exciting new partnership, with impressive international  leader Tradedoubler, comes at a time of increasing growth, not just for Fruugo, but for the whole cross-border shopping phenomenon, which we are helping lead. Today's announcement heralds another in a growing raft of such relationships with leading data feed companies, performance marketing organisations, retailer aggregators and ecommerce platforms around the world.
“Now retailers working with Tradedoubler can have a global presence through Fruugo, with the benefit of giving the consumer a really local buying experience. It's about revenue growth for all parties and offering the very best global shopping basket to consumers.
Tradedoubler does business in more than 40 countries, working with blue-chip advertisers who pay by results. It generated more than 3.5bn euros in incremental revenues for its clients in 2012.
Network Director for Tradedoubler, Andrew Copeland says; “Cross-border demand for products is increasing at an unbelievable rate. Our partnership with Fruugo benefits both our advertisers and their customers by bringing them together at a truly local level. By removing the difficulties of currency conversion and delivery charges, advertisers can focus on providing the right product to the right customer, wherever they may be.”
