Tradedoubler and The Body Shop hosted their second affiliate showcase event

Tradedoubler and The Body Shop hosted their second affiliate showcase that proved to be a winner all round on Thursday 6th March. Kicking things off with some light networking over tea and coffee affiliates filed in for an update on what The Body Shop and Tradedoubler had been up to since the last event hosted in October.
Liam Downes, E-commerce Marketing Manager at The Body Shop took to the stage first opening with the great work of their Foundation, a staggering £500k raised for Teenage Cancer Trust and £200k for Community Fair Trade over the past year. The Vitamin E range dominated the exclusive sneak peak product launches with Serum Oil and Aqua Boost Sorbet coming soon…we couldn’t wait to try out the testers they’d brought!
It was then over to Amy Lucas, Senior Account Manager, at Tradedoubler to talk about the new technical integrations with highlights being the introduction of Cross Device Tracking and App Download Tracking coming in the next quarter. Publishers were very keen to hear more on how this opened them up to new revenue streams and closed the gap on leakage across the programme and consumers switching devices during their purchasing journey.
The event closed with a broad range of product testing. We were even joined by some lovely in-store ladies who provided hand massages, make-overs and hair chalking, that last one being everyone’s absolute favourite! All our partners went home happy with some great goody bags that included The Body Shops iconic body butter, a lip gloss and some Vitamin E moisturiser.
