Tradedoubler is flexing its affiliate marketing muscles in the Nordic region today, with the announcement that it has signed an exclusive deal with the region’s leading e-commerce retailer – CDON Group.
CDON has ambitious plans for its online brands which include Nelly, Heppo, Gymgrossisten, CDON, Room21 and Lekmer. Selling across a broad range of sectors such as entertainment, fashion, leisure & sportswear and home & garden equipment, CDON is perfectly poised to take advantage of the e-commerce revolution, with studies showing that three in ten Nordic e-commerce customers plan to buy more products online over the next 12 months.
However, with one in two of those customers also buying from foreign sites, particularly those based in the US, UK and Germany, the challenges and opportunities faced by e-commerce retailers in the Nordics are significant.
Tradedoubler has helped CDON build its leadership position since 2000, when the two companies first started to work together. This new exclusive partnership in the Nordic region aims to fast-track CDON to further success.
“We are recommitting to Tradedoubler at an exciting time for CDON Group,” said Tobias Lindblom, Online Marketing Director CDON Group. “We are determined to remain at the forefront of e-commerce in the Nordic region and establish a strong foothold elsewhere in Europe. Tradedoubler’s extensive network of online publishers and broad reach in terms of sectors and audiences, coupled with its proven track-record of driving cost-effective sales will be vital in helping us achieve this.”
“We are proud to have been selected by CDON Group for this closer and stronger partnership,” said Leif Eliasson, market unit leader, North East, Tradedoubler. “We pride ourselves on offering a flexible, tailored affiliate strategy that is built around the needs of each individual customer and helps them to achieve their business goals. We are very excited about the role we can play in helping CDON Group to expand and grow.”
