We are thrilled to announce that Expedia, the world’s largest travel company, has renewed its longstanding and successful partnership with us at Tradedoubler. The renewed agreement couldn’t have come at a better time of year as we are gearing up to capitalize on the last-minute holiday booking season which is now underway, and with the classic British summer weather we have been experiencing I’m sure there will be many savvy shoppers turning to our loyalty, travel content and price comparison affiliates for an escape to the sun!

As part of the new agreement Expedia and Hotels.com will be taking full advantage of our industry leading mobile platform as well as our marketing services for the web across Europe and Latin America where mobile commerce is set to explode! Moreover, according to EuroMonitor research, online travel in Western European countries is forecast to grow by an average of six percent a year, growing from 16 percent of travel bookings in 2012 to 33 percent in 2016 so we can expect to see some phenomenal results.

Finally some words from those involved about what the partnership means to them…

“Travel is one of Tradedoubler’s strongest verticals and we are delighted to be continuing to work alongside the fantastic teams at Expedia and Hotels.com,” said Jon Lord, Group Director, International Sales & Client Development, Tradedoubler.

“Our long-term partnership will ensure we can manage growth targets effectively as we continue to develop and innovate on the network. This includes international market expansion, developing mobile sale channels and building new tools and technology for publishers. After great growth over the past few years, we expect to take the programme to the next level in the run-up to the summer peak in 2012,” continued Lord.

“Tradedoubler’s technology platform has proved very effective and we anticipate that their strategy of diversifying the range of publishers in the affiliate network will help us reach new customers and revenues,” said Sabrina Fiorini, Head of EMEA Partner Marketing, Expedia Worldwide.

“Tradedoubler’s ability to incentivise its network to drive more traffic via mobile, and intelligently analyse buying behaviour, patterns, and trends makes a valuable contribution to Hotels.com’s growth on the increasingly important mobile channel," said Josie Shah, Director, Affiliate Partnerships, Hotels.com.

We look forward to working with more of our advertisers, publishers and agencies on our mobile platform and across our markets all the way to Latin America. It really is an exciting and dynamic time for the affiliate industry and especially for Tradedoubler having been voted this year “Publishers’ Choice of Network” as well as taking successful strides to access the mobile market and expand outside of Europe in a key market which is going through rapid growth both online and via mobile.  We are thrilled to have been selected by Expedia and Hotels.com to represent them and we are confident that Tradedoubler has the technology, expertise and reach to ensure they achieve and surpass their goals.
