It was the "net booster" TradeDoubler who won the "Guldmusen" prize as the IT-rookie of the year for a patented platform for performance-based marketing and sales. "Guldmusen" is one of the oldest IT prizes in Sweden.

The jury´s motivation was:
"TradeDoubler is a young company who has created a new business platform on the Internet, where TradeDoubler gets strong future possibilities to expand their business both in Sweden and abroad".

TradeDoubler was founded 2.5 years ago by two persons from the venture capital company Cell Ventures - Felix Hagnö and Martin Lorentzon. They developed a platform to track the Internet traffic and to let the merchants / advertisers just to pay for the clicks that generate revenues.

TradeDoubler's technology enables merchants to establish a relationship with thousands of affiliates on the Internet, offering them commission on "clicks", "leads" and "sales" generated by the affiliates' visitors. Rather than paying for the number of impressions, TradeDoubler's products are performance-driven. TradeDoubler offers a unique, totally managed solution, which includes implementation, hosting, payments / billing, support, maintenance and reporting.

As the leading company in Europe, TradeDoubler also offers commissions that comply with local tax and government regulations through a unique infrastructure. More than 300 leading European merchants and industry leaders have partnered with TradeDoubler to build and manage their performance-based marketing programs in Europe.
