Tradedoubler Launches Revolutionary Adtool Service

A new creative toolkit set to change the way marketers manage online advertising

15 December 2004

TradeDoubler, the European market leader for online performance-based marketing, has announced the launch of ‘AdTool’, a new technology that enables online publishers to design and manage their own adverts, based on the advertisers’ product database. This exclusive tool provides a sophisticated and easy way to optimise websites and provide publishers with support when creating, designing and tracking an advert.

AdTool provides the tools needed to design the format and content for the online adverts, which can be created from scratch or based on one of 15 assorted, multi-lingual templates. This bespoke approach allows the publishers to highlight the key features of their products and dictate the look and feel of the advert, ensuring that the ad is consistent with its surrounding content.

AdTool can also provide continuous automated updates of both product information and pricing across all categories. This automated system relieves the technical burden and manual hours normally required to keep an advertising partnership like this up-to-date, providing a cost-efficient and practical solution for marketers. The AdTool functionality ensures the optimal allocation of advertising inventory through an “action based” targeting mechanism, whereby it displays ads ranked according to those that generate the best results.

Further to this, AdTool can help marketers assess the effectiveness of online adverts through real-time reports. These reports enable the marketer to view the volume and type of transactions, assess its success rate and provide an opportunity to revise the design or format of the advert again and extend the publishers outreach.

Will Cooper, Chief Marketing Officer, TradeDoubler commented: “The whole AdTool package is one of the most sophisticated marketing tools available for publishers today. The opportunity to track and monitor how effective online adverts are, and most importantly, have the facility to change and improve them automated in real-time, presents TradeDoubler with the chance to take this standard a step further forward than anyone else has yet to accomplish in Europe.”

TradeDoubler has a local support team to provide assistance for the locally-based publishers and ensure that AdTool is utilised to its best advantage for each campaign. Publishers can also benefit from TradeDoubler’s hybrid payment model – a fusion of cost-per-click and cost-per-action (CPA) scheme formed on a case-by-case basis to nullify the risks associated with a pure CPA model.

The launch of this new functionality compliments all TradeDoubler’s existing products which include the affiliate program, the Media Toolbox solution as well as campaigns. It demonstrates TradeDoubler’s commitment to helping publishers enhance the online end-user experience. TradeDoubler will be rolling-out this tool to each of its publishers across Europe over the coming months.
