AirBaltic is the first airline in the Baltic states to take advantage of "Open Sky"   following EU – accession and start operation from another country. airBaltic operates direct flights from two of the capital cities in the Baltic States – Riga, Latvia and Vilnius, Lithuania. Thus airline offers widest choice of connections and highest frequencies for the lowest prices in the market. airBaltic's aim is to continue growth and sustain high profitability

Objectives:

  • To promote airBaltic top destination offers
  • To drive traffic to the airBaltic site
  • To generate sales for airBaltic (1% Conversion Rate(CR))

Strategy:

  • Use td Push (Campaign Network) to generate traffic and optimise publisher placements to generate a 1% CR

Description:

AirBaltic began working with TradeDoubler UK in February 2006 as part of their international campaign. airBaltic were looking for a cost effective way of marketing themselves online while retaining a strong focus on sales generation for the campaign. The campaign was divided into six-mini campaigns to run through the year

(February, March, May, September, October, November). Each month had specific budget and click traffic objectives, with an overall objective of a 1% CR across all activity,

Results:

  • To date, TradeDoubler UK has fulfilled 5 out of the 6 mini campaigns and delivered the budgets timeously on each
  • The first 2 (February/March)mini campaigns generated a CR of 2.16% (1.16% above the target)
  • The May mini campaign generated a CR of 8% (7% above target)
  • The September/October mini campaigns generated a 4.89% CR
